The Value Analysis Program Coordinator leads and coordinates the hospital's Value Analysis Program (VAP), working within the Supply Chain Management department and collaborating with leadership and stakeholders in clinical, financial, and operations departments. They are also responsible for the overall management of the Value Analysis Program, including coordinating the evaluation and implementation of clinical systems, supplies, services, and equipment hospital-wide.
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college in nursing or other clinical discipline. Must have current RN licensure from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing or other clinical licensure from an accredited approval body. Bachelor's degree is preferred.A minimum of five years' prior experience as an RN or other licensed clinical professional role. Three or more years of experience in a leadership or project management position is preferred.Strong clinical, financial, and analytical skills, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to independently research, organize, and compose various reports, forms, graphs, presentations, etc., associated with the implementation of successful value analysis teams. Ability to manage and lead diverse groups.Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate value analysis project teams related to system and equipment assessments, trials and implementations, resource utilization, Physician preferences, and other organizational initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional clinical leadership to determine appropriate membership and representation for all Value Analysis Teams and initiatives, and assure effective organization, preparation, and team facilitation for all program team meetings.Provide and maintain a process for any new requested product, service, and equipment from staff. Support and facilitate Physician engagement, balancing standardization initiatives, rationalization initiatives, and utilization initiatives.Coordinate educational programs related to supplies/equipment and Supply Chain function.Determine efficient approaches for evaluating new products at the hospital. Develop Value Analysis policies, procedures, and workflows that support the Value Analysis Program and other Supply Chain processes.Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $63,410 - $101,400
