This recruitment is for our Arts & Cultural Affairs Division. Candidates for this position will assist with daily communication, projects, events, and relationships focused on the arts and cultural affairs goals of the city.
They will help to organize and catalog artist lists and public art pieces in the city and perform other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
The City of Clearwater has a need for temporary employees to supplement our permanent workforce.
These temporary employees are invaluable in meeting the mission of the agency.
Average weekly hours cannot be determined at date of hire.
Hours may vary from week to week and are anticipated to be 28 hours per week or less.NOTE: Will be considered full-time and eligible for medical coverage if hours average 30 hours per week or more over a 12-month measurement period (or 130 hours per month).
Employees in this class perform a variety of manual labor tasks requiring some job-acquired skills in specialized fields.
Work may involve a considerable amount of public contact in providing information and assistance.
The incumbent works under general supervision reporting to a supervisor or designee.

Minimum Qualifications Licenses, Certifications, and Equipment:
A valid State driver's license is preferred.
Education and Experience:
Completion of the 10th grade.
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Diploma or G.E.D.
Certificate preferred.
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Supplemental Information Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Ability to deal with the public in a tactful and courteous manner
