We provide PICC and Midline insertions, Peripheral Venous Access as well as Continuing Education, Precepting and Consulting for Hospitals, Long-Term Care and other Healthcare Facilities.VIC the PICC offers the following services 24/7/365:PICC/Midline Placement with UltrasoundECG Guidance Technology for PICC ConfirmationPeripheral IV InsertionsDeclottingLine RemovalPort Access24/7/365 Triage Nursing ServicesJob DescriptionAs a PICC Nurse with VIC the PICC, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting. If you are looking for a change and tired of 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality care, this would be the perfect opportunity for you.As a VIC the PICC Vascular Access Consultant RN you will:Place PICCs, midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and use ECG confirmation.Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices.Provide a wide range of vascular access including but not limited to port access, removal of lines, declotting PICCs, etc.Educate nursing staff regarding PICCs, midlines and many other CVAD'sQualificationsKey ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be visiting patients in different facilities. You must be willing to travel to patient visits and be able to participate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs. On-call requirements are: two- three days per week, including weekends and participate in the holiday rotation.PICC RN Qualifications:Registered Nurse with current licenseMinimum of 3 years' experience in acute care preferredExperienced in PICC placements with ultrasoundHave and maintain current CPR certificationPossess a current and valid driver's license and auto insuranceAbility to work independentlyParticipate in on-call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needsMust possess a smart phoneAccess to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to patient sitesMust LOVE Vascular AccessAdditional InformationVICthePICC OffersProfessional, fun, and positive work culture24 hour on-call supportElectronic chartingPaid MileageExtra Hour RatesIndependenceFlexibility: Employees have the flexibility to make their own schedules; when you are on call for VTP you will receive cases based on your availability and regionCompetitive Pay: $ 50 - 70 / HourHave questions about one of our positions?
