We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary of the Vascular TechnologistResponsible for performing diagnostic procedures through the use of ultrasonography techniques to include to perform vascular exams. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation by a Cardiologist/Radiologist. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services.Qualifications of the Vascular Technologist EDUCATION: Certificate of successful completion from an accredited school of vascular ultrasound.Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound EXPERIENCE: One year of vascular imaging experience/ultrasound experience. LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Preferred: ARDMS in AB, OB/GYN and/or BR or RDCS by ARDMS or CCIBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateSt. David's Georgetown Hospital is a comprehensive healthcare facility located north of Austin,Texas.
