**Description** ** _Summary:_**Performs advanced cardiac and vascular circulation diagnostic exams usingecho, ultrasound, andor Doppler equipment.**_Responsibilities:_**• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader ofSelf, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.• Performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominalvessels to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disorders affecting thecirculation.• May perform therapeutic procedures such as psedoaneurysm compression.• Records and maintains tests data and prepares preliminary interpretations oftest results and other duties as assigned.• Depending on hospital department, may also Performs routine abdominal, smallparts, breast, OBGYN, and other vascular ultrasound procedures.• Assist physicians with biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and needlelocalization procedures.**_Requirements:_****A. EducationSkills**• Graduate of an accredited Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology Programrequired.**B. Experience**• 1-2 years exp in vascular ultrasound preferred.**C.
