The Vendor Management Analyst ('VMA') serves as the dedicated, centralized Vendor Management subject matter expert for key business partners. They are responsible for maintaining a vendor management program to ensure the credit union is exercising safety and soundness of the onboarding and periodic reviews of selected vendors. The VMA applies strategic understanding of vendor policies and procedures associated with vendor sourcing and contracts. They proactively propose ways to streamline the key processes of vendor acquisition and ongoing monitoring.

Primary Responsibilities: Leads in the acquisition and review of new and existing vendors and address third-party (and subcontractor) contracts, service agreements, subscriptions and amendments for business applications and other required documentationUtilizes governance, risk and compliance (GRC) tools or similar tools and processes to manage vendor contract execution and performance management including the termination of contractsMonitors third-party vendor performance leveraging 1st United Credit Union processes for evaluation and escalate to Vendor Owners as necessaryProvides support to Vendor Owners as needed for contract negotiations and may act as the intermediary with Legal for contract reviewsAssists Vice President Compliance and Risk Management with annual vendor reports, policies and procedures based on regulatory changes, internal audits and examinationsOther duties as assignedKnowledge and Skills:Three years to five years of similar or related experience.(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).Ability to learn and apply knowledge of NCUA, FFIEC and DFPI regulations and guidelinesExcellent communication skills; verbal and writtenProficient in Microsoft suiteHighly analytical mindsetData analysis experienceVendor Management and Project Management designations preferredHybrid schedule may be available upon approval.Salary Wage will range from $82,250.00/year to $123,370.00/year. Wages posted are for grade 12 and will depend on experience.
