Responsibilities
• Assist DVMs and credentialed veterinary technicians with appointments, surgeries, and procedures• Restrain animals safely and efficiently• Obtain accurate vitals and medical histories• Collect and prepare laboratory samples• Care and maintain medical equipment• Communicate with clients on patient updates and questions
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED certificate• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays• Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stressful situations• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
