Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Veterinary Criticalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in emergency and critical care, possess strong leadership abilities, and demonstrate a passion for providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced critical care to patients in the ICU.
Oversee and manage the emergency and critical care department.
Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients.
Collaborate with other veterinary specialists and support staff.
Mentor and train veterinary interns, residents, and technicians.
Stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary emergency and critical care.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications: DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Board certification or eligibility in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC).
Valid veterinary license in the state of New York.
Strong clinical skills and experience in emergency and critical care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
