Description    Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) is a place where team members can thrive, grow and learn as they help us provide exceptional veterinary care and client service.  PVESC is a large, growing emergency and specialty veterinary practice located in beautiful Portland, Maine.  Our specialties include emergency & critical care, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology, neurology, and cardiology.   PVESC has a current full-time 2nd shift opening for a licensed technician or experienced veterinary assistant in our emergency and critical care department. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts, 2 pm to12 am.  This position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $2500.00, compensation commensurate with experience, generous evening and weekend shift differentials, and an extensive benefits plan.  We are looking for a technician with exceptional attention to detail and proficient written and oral communication skills. You will have the ability to work alongside board certified veterinarians and veterinary technician specialists in emergency and critical care.  We have a collaborative approach to leadership and decision making that allows all our teams to provide the best care for our patients.
