We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian Technician to join the team full-time (about 40 hours a week) at our successful animal hospital.
Veterinary Technician responsibilities include assisting the Veterinarian with surgeries and procedures, coordinating animal care, and monitoring animal recovery.
You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients.

We are open on weekends and employees are scheduled for weekend shifts.


Responsibilities Triage pets as they arrive at the clinicInterview pet owners to obtain a patient historyTake vital signs and acquire blood samplesAssist with surgeries and monitor animals after surgeryAdminister medications and provide at-home dosage instructions for clientsKeep accurate patient records Qualifications Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role required Anesthesia protocols and monitoring experience required Knowledge of animal care and handlingExcellent communication skills Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environmentPatience and a love for animals

Compensation: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
