A skilled Veterinary Ophthalmic Technician is a crucial component to the success of any ophthalmology practice, as they directly affect the ophthalmologist's ability to diagnose and treat ocular disease.
Shift Details = Monday – Friday, NO weekends or overnights.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of technical experience
Technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is needed
Preference given to applicants with advanced skill sets which include Schirmer tear tests, tonometry, ocular ultrasounds, electroretinograms, and the use of paralytics
Anesthesia monitoring, perform sterile scrub, assist doctors throughout a variety of surgical procedures
Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Advocate for patient care
Self-motivated with a passion for veterinary medicine
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast- paced environment
