Vice President, Accounts - Boston, MA or Remote in the USAre you an experienced communications leader focused on contributing your expertise in the biotech industry? We're a thriving strategic communication, digital and creative agency based in Boston that works with trailblazers in the biotech industry. We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic leader steeped in this sector to play a lead role in client relationships, strategy and execution for programs including corporate messaging/positioning, media strategies/media relations, social/digital media, investor communications, internal communications, scientific communications, web site development and patient engagement.

Please Note: Our headquarters office is located in downtown Boston, MA. Our Boston area employees collaborate in office together three days a week with flexibility/remote work on other days. Our remote employees spend time in Boston for company, client and team meetings as needed.

The Vice President will be responsible for:Develop and guide overarching communication strategies for clients including through key moments in their growth and progress including financing events, clinical trial starts, etc.Lead the team and own / oversee and execute the work across multiple client accounts to plan and implement the full range of client responsibilitiesExhibit strong executive presence and senior level mindset across communicationsIdentify and secure opportunities to grow existing client accountsContribute meaningfully to internal Ten Bridge initiatives, including programs to help foster a culture of learning, collaboration and funFoster highly collaborative, engaged long-term client relationshipsDevelop content for wide range of client projects, including messaging and positioning platforms, press releases, pitch materials, website copy and investor materialsCultivate ongoing media relationships, stay connected to broader industry news & trends, pitch stories, apply creative thinking and deliver measurable benefits for clientsContribute collaboratively to creative projects such as website designs and social media projectsMentor and help guide career development for junior team members, especially for those with direct reporting relationships, resulting in coaching and challenging the team to growHelp raise the visibility and reinforce the positive reputation of Ten Bridge to key external audiences within the biotech community What we're looking for:10+ years of experience in an agency or in-house communications leadership role focused on biotech, pharma, or healthcare industries, and with responsibilities in investor relations and/or investor and financial communicationsBachelor's degreePassion for building value for clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical spaces through highly strategic communications approachesAbility to work independently with little direction while taking initiative to solve problemsStrong analytical and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead, manage and inspire a talented staff of motivated professionals at all levelsExperience collaborating on successful strategies for and utilizing digital communications channelsStrong writing and editing abilities and demonstrated aptitude in adapting writing style to fit a given audience or application (media, web, internal, etc.); proficiency in AP style preferredAwareness of industry media and publications, foundational understanding of the news cycle and experience with media outreachAbility to deliver strong client service with a sense of urgencyStellar project management skillsWorking knowledge of the financial regulatory and reporting environment for publicly-traded biotech companiesStrong understanding of the biotech industry and drug development processA creative mind that's very far "out of the box" About Ten Bridge Communications
