About the Role The Company is seeking a Director/VP for Capital Markets with a focus on renewable energy and infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing project finance transactions that support the development, construction, and operations of various renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, battery storage, and hydrogen.
This role involves managing a team, external advisors, and transaction counsel, as well as negotiating and owning the financing model.
The Director/VP will also be involved in due diligence, risk evaluation, and will be expected to maintain and cultivate relationships with investors, lenders, and advisors.
Mentoring and fostering a high-performance culture within the team is also a key aspect of the position.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5-10 years' of experience in renewable energy project financing, with a strong background in closing tax equity transactions.
A degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for a graduate degree.
The role demands significant experience in Excel-based project finance models, as well as in reviewing and negotiating legal documents related to financial transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide teams to success.
Responsibilities also include advising on critical project agreements and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of tasks and larger financings.
