We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our Client Coverage, Alternatives Asset Servicing team. This role is located in New York, NY – HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Play a key role in identifying and targeting global alternative managers within the private credit, infrastructure, private equity & real estate segments.
Serve as a strategic relationship manager to a book of existing relationships & play a consultative role to the client, advising client leaders on the best way to achieve short- and long- term strategic objectives while aiming to retain and increase BNY wallet share.
Identifies opportunities to evolve client business for incremental account growth.
Develop, track and report on relationship strategy/results for assigned client portfolio.
Seek out and maintain prospect relationships with a focus to establish new relationships.
Responsibilities will include covering key centers of influence within the alternatives industry to raise brand awareness including audit firms, legal advisors, consultants & prime brokers.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 7-9 years in Sales/Relationship Management within Financial Services
Custody, Fund Administration, or Prime Brokerage experience required.
Demonstrate track record in exceeding sales or growth targets, cross sell of solutions.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $179,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
