About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Release of Information to take on a strategic executive role leading the company's release of information (ROI) operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and customer service within the ROI department. This includes strategic leadership, P&L management, operational excellence, technology integration (with a focus on AI and RPA), and team management. The role demands a deep understanding of health information management, preferably with an RHIA certification, and a proven track record in managing large-scale ROI operations. The Vice President will also be tasked with maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing compliance and security, and collaborating with other departments to support ROI activities.Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree in health information management, business administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. An RHIA certification is also preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in health information management or a related field, with a significant portion in a leadership role overseeing ROI operations, is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, technology proficiency in AI and RPA, and in-depth knowledge of HIPAA and other regulations. Leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential, as is the ability to make data-driven decisions and ensure the team is focused on innovation and customer satisfaction.
