About the Role
The Company is seeking a Divisional Sales Vice President to provide strategic leadership and optimize revenue, profit margin, and market share within the division. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, planning, and executing sales strategies at the division and community levels. This role requires the recruitment, training, and development of a highly engaged sales team, as well as the ongoing coaching and evaluation of sales staff to ensure the achievement of sales goals. The VP will also work closely with various operational units, including marketing, operations, design center, and land, to support the sales function and streamline processes. Candidates for the Divisional Sales Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A real estate license is highly preferred. The role demands a minimum of 5-7 years' of sales experience in the homebuilding industry, with at least 3-5 years' in a lead sales or sales management role, and a strong emphasis on coaching and training. Technical skills required include a complete understanding of the sales process in the new home sales environment, strong coaching and mentoring abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The VP will be expected to spend time in the field, working with sales associates, and must maintain a current knowledge of market and competitor information to make informed business decisions.
