The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and expanding the corporate government relations function, with a focus on advancing the company's public policy agenda at the federal, state, and local levels.
This role involves building and maintaining the company's presence as a thought leader in the policy and political spheres, particularly on issues relevant to the data storage and semiconductor industries.
The Vice President will be tasked with developing and executing strategies to promote the company's priorities, shaping public dialogue, and establishing trusted relationships with key government and industry stakeholders.
A strong background in government relations, including experience in a multinational corporate setting, and a deep understanding of the legislative and regulatory processes are essential.
Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 15 years' experience in government relations, with a preference for those with congressional, agency, or White House experience.
The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing a high-performance team, strong project management skills, and the ability to translate complex policy issues into clear, effective communication.
The ideal candidate will have a background in technology or experience in the data storage and semiconductor industries, particularly in the policy area.
A commitment to a growth mindset, continuous improvement, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability are also key qualifications.
The Vice President will work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations and will be responsible for managing the government relations budget and office.
