Job Title: Vice President, Grant Administration & Compliance Location: Washington, DC Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) seeks a detail-oriented and knowledgeable manager to join our expanding team as the Vice President of Grant Administration & Compliance. This role manages and oversees a team that ensures sub-recipient compliance with regulatory and programmatic requirements including, but not limited to, the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF). This role plays a critical part in ensuring that sub-recipients adhere to the terms and conditions of sub-award agreements, as well as applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
The primary focus of the VP is to manage the compliance process, monitor grant activities, and provide guidance and support to the team and sub-recipients.

This position is based in Washington, D.C. All staff currently work a hybrid schedule. Core Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive sub-recipient compliance strategy that aligns with the organization's grant objectives. This includes supporting the SVP, Investment Operations in establishing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure sub-recipients' compliance with grant requirements.Develop and implement monitoring procedures to ensure ongoing compliance of sub-recipients with grant terms.Perform internal and external audits and reviews of expenditure and programmatic reports, conduct site visits, and assess the proper use of grant funds.Provide guidance and support to sub-recipients regarding grant compliance requirements.Develop and deliver onboarding training to educate sub-recipients on grant regulations, reporting procedures, and best practices.Address and resolve compliance issues identified during monitoring activities or related by sub-recipients.Collaborate with grant management associate and internal departments to develop corrective action plans and ensure timely resolution of sub-recipient's non-compliance events.Stay up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to grant compliance. Interpret and communicate these requirements to internal stakeholders and sub-recipients, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations.Collaborate with internal teams, such as Finance and Accounting, Investment & Portfolio Management, and Climate to ensure alignment and coordination in grant compliance efforts.Collaborate with auditors, provide necessary documentation and information, and address any findings or recommendations.Identify areas for improvement in grant compliance processes and procedures. Recommend and implement enhancements to ensure efficient and effective compliance management.Position Requirements Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or 5-7 years direct work experience in lieu of degree required.5+ years proven experience in grant compliance management, preferably in a non-profit or government organization.2+ years of supervisory experience.Experience with clean energy programs and projects is a plus.Demonstrated experience managing and meeting tight deadlines.Experience or knowledge of the CDFI Industry and nonprofit environment is a plus.Demonstrated leadership ability with superior interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse constituents.Excellent knowledge of grant regulations and compliance requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address compliance issues.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data and financial information.Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently under minimal supervision as well as ability to set priorities and meet deadlines under pressure without sacrificing quality.Proficient in using grant management software tools.Familiarity with financial management and reporting systems.Some travel required (15% of time).Job involves normal physical requirements for an office position.EEO Employer – Disability/Veteran/Minority/Female/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
