As the Vice President, Leasing, you'll be at the helm of revenue generation, spearheading value creation initiatives, and fortifying client relationships across a diverse portfolio of assets in key regional submarkets. We're looking for a seasoned professional with 7-10+ years of demonstrated expertise in Leasing, Strategy, and Investment / Asset Management.
Key Responsibilities: Expert Deal Making: Showcase mastery in commercial lease deal making, with a particular focus on the nuanced dynamics of Southern California's industrial real estate market.Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of leasing professionals, setting ambitious goals, providing ongoing support, and fostering seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders to maximize productivity.Broker Engagement: Drive broker engagement to efficiently lease vacant space, assess potential tenants' business viability to ensure long-term operational success.Strategic Renewals: Personally oversee lease renewals, cultivating strategic partnerships with clients and brokerage firms to secure ongoing tenancy.Strategic Marketing: Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to capitalize on leasing and value creation opportunities, ensuring maximum exposure for our properties.Document Management: Skillfully draft and review various lease-related documents, including letters of intent, leases, work letters, and broker agreements, ensuring legal compliance and maximizing value for Rexford.Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to stay ahead of the curve on market rents, competitor offerings, emerging trends, and recent transactions within Rexford's target markets.Requisite Skills: Results-Driven Collaboration: A collaborative team player with a relentless focus on achieving results, coupled with exceptional time-management and organizational abilities.Exceptional Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and negotiate favorable terms.Innovative Problem-Solving: A creative thinker with a knack for understanding diverse tenant needs and devising innovative solutions to address them.Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills for performing lease-related calculations and deciphering net effective rent schedules, ensuring optimal outcomes for Rexford.Industry Fluency: A deep understanding of commercial/industrial lease terms and forms, coupled with a keen awareness of industry best practices and emerging trends.Compensation Rexford Industrial's total reward plan includes a premier benefits package, bonus eligibility and long-term stock incentives. The expected salary range for this role is $175,000 to $230,000, with a 60% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility. The actual base salary and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letter.
