The VP Managed Assets is responsible for managing and supervising all physical and financial operations of the Kansas City, MO and St. Louis, MO portfolios in addition to managing and coaching Area and District Managers and site teams.
\n Requirements of the VP Managed Assets: Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; and at least seven years multi-property supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience as a member of a site team before multi-property supervisory experience is preferred.Complete knowledge of all federal, state or local laws concerning the housing and use of each property including LIHTC, Section 8, EIV, ADA and OSHAKnowledge of all laws and regulations that relate to various real estate propertiesExperience with preparing annual budgets, detailed financial reports and ability to provide an analysis of this information to the ownerExperience with supervision and coaching of employees at multiple locationsProficiency with OneSite and RealPage or similar property management platforms.Exceptional oral and written communications skills to a variety of audiences – from residents, local leaders and press to staff, company executive and property owners.Valid driver's license Benefits of the Job: Annual pay in the range of $120,000 - $140,000Generous PTO including vacation and 11 paid holidays401(k) retirement with employer matchMedical, Dental, VisionSTD/LTD/Basic Life paid by the company Responsibilities of the VP Managed Assets:Responsible for directing and overseeing all physical and financial operations of the Kansas City, MO, and St. Louis, MO portfolios.Supports President and Director of Compliance in portfolio wide LIHTC compliance and reportingSupervise and monitor the properties' operations and compliance with government and environmental regulations and oversee the use of legal counsel when necessary.Sets overall operational and financial goals for the individual assetsInitiates, monitors and revises the long- and short-term plans of the regionResponsible for the final approval of all economic terms, amendments, lease terms, and tenant credit approval for leases.Monitor Rent Rolls, Lease Expirations, Operational Variance Reports, Delinquency Reports, and other reports required to effectively operate the propertiesSupports Executive and Ownership teams in development and implementation of Policy and ProceduresManages reporting site staff and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these individualsTours properties on a regular basis and conducts property inspections.Responsible for customer service and quality control, and for supporting owner communication. Active in administering process improvements.
