A premier long-term care company, operating twenty-one long-term care facilities throughout the state of Ohio, is now hiring a full-time Vice President of Business Development and Admissions to travel to our homes!

Job Duties: Coordinate and implement effective long-term care facility marketing and sales programs across their assigned region. Ensure the facilities in their region meet sales objectives and are responsible for census growth and quality mix. Develop and implement team-based, facility-level Marketing Plans, including: analyzing local healthcare systems, identifying and meeting customer needs, determining core competitive advantages, building a core selling message, establishing reach and frequency for target customers and prospects, and coordinating selling strategies and tactics. Make external sales calls on target markets to execute facility Marketing Plans and achieve census and quality mix goals. Understand census, quality mix, and bed management needs of the facilities in the region. Maintain a referral management database as a sales management tool. Work with Facility Administrators to identify and develop Admission Support Teams, including Administrators and department heads. This team will process admissions paperwork, ensure appropriate payor source, conduct tours, etc. Additional job duties as assigned by the VP of Business Development. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience may be acceptable. Two (2) or more years of experience in a sales/marketing position with a proven track record of success; long-term healthcare experience is a must! Demonstrated ability to understand and promote technical information (i.e., clinical outcomes, data points). Effective verbal and written English communication skills. Proven effective public speaking and presentation skills. Traveling throughout the region is required. On-call is required. Will report directly to the VP of Business Development.
