The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, increasing the company's margin profile, and expanding its market presence.
This role is pivotal in the creation and implementation of sales plans and strategies to achieve company objectives, as well as in the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.
The VP will be responsible for managing a significant current business, developing a high-performing sales team, and nurturing key client relationships.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of the company's operations, capacity, and capabilities are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership positions within the contract manufacturing or co-packing industry.
Key qualifications for this role include a proven track record as a sales leader with senior-level relationships at key consumer packaged goods companies.
The candidate should have diverse functional experience, with a strong background in sales and experience in finance, operations, and/or strategy.
The role requires a leader who can innovate and lead disciplined customer relationship management and pricing.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic business development plans within the consumer packaged goods industry, particularly in the food and beverage sector, is a must.
The VP will also be expected to represent the company at industry events and should be willing to travel as needed.
