The VP of Business Development will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development within the ITO, technology, and software engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, analysis, and organizational skills and the ability to develop and execute business strategies that align with our company's objectives.
Responsibilities: Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and lead-generation activities.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention levels. Experienced executive in navigating enterprise client procurement processes in various industries including Healthcare, Technology, Retail, Travel, etc.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients. Partnership and Collaboration:
Establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance service offerings and market presence.Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, IT, WFM, QA, L&D, and software engineering, to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions. Leadership and Team Development:
Provide insights and value to the business development team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.Set performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching to team direct reports (when applicable). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.4 years of experience in business development within the ITO, technology, or software engineering sectors.Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.Strong understanding of customer support, technology solutions, and software engineering services.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.Strong leadership and team management skills.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.Located in the United States.Ability to deliver 5mm ARR of new business annually.
