The successful candidate will be part of the Distribution Management team and will be responsible for strategically initiating and extending relationships with agency and broker partners.
This role is pivotal in advancing market share and visibility in the region, and the ideal candidate will be a key player in the company's growth strategies.
The VP, Business Development will be the face of the company in the region, increasing visibility at various events and networking opportunities, and will also be directly accountable for owning regional business development priorities.
Applicants must have a strong background in P&C sales, broking, underwriting, or marketing management, with at least 10 years' of experience in the field.
The role requires a candidate with existing relationships in the local agency and brokerage communities, as well as a proven track record in developing and implementing successful growth strategies.
Strong client engagement and relationship management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage retail and/or wholesale distribution channels.
The VP, Business Development will work closely with the company's business units to manage a dynamic prospect list that supports business development and cross-selling opportunities, and will be expected to support a positive distribution team culture by embodying the company's values and behaviors.
