The Specialized Recruiting Group is hiring a Vice President of Construction for a reputable homebuilder client of ours in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must have
5 years or more of executive level residential construction
experience to be considered. Job details below:
As a leader in this exciting division, you'll be responsible for:

Building an A-Team:
Recruit, train, and lead a team of construction professionals, including project managers, tradespeople, and support staff. Together, you'll create an unstoppable force.

Building Strong Relationships:
Identify and establish partnerships with reliable and reputable vendors, ensuring top-notch performance. You'll negotiate contracts and secure the best resources and materials.

Mastering Time and Resources:
Coordinate and schedule trades effectively, ensuring timely project completion. Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, construction timelines, and budgets.

Exceeding Expectations:
Implement stringent quality control processes to ensure each home is crafted with the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. Strive to exceed homeowner expectations and provide impeccable service.
Requirements:

Proven experience (5+ years): executive level
residential construction
?
Local Connections:
including trades, industry professionals, brokers, land owners, and others involved in the residential construction industry

Extensive local knowledge:
construction techniques, building codes, and industry best practices.

Inspiring Leadership:
Strong team management skills to motivate and empower your team to achieve their best.
