$175,000 – $215,000 per year, based on experience

Summary:
Mendocino Farms is seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Culinary Operations and Supply Chain to lead our culinary team and optimize our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for culinary excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable sourcing practices. Reporting directly to the COO, the VP of Culinary Operations and Supply Chain will play a crucial role in driving our brand's continued success and growth.
Responsibilities:
the culinary team in developing innovative menu offerings that reflect Mendocino Farms' commitment to quality, seasonality, and creativity. Stay abreast of culinary trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics to drive menu development and differentiation.
and maintain rigorous standards for ingredient sourcing, food preparation, and presentation to ensure consistently exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Implement quality control processes and procedures across all locations.
all aspects of the supply chain, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, inventory management, and distribution logistics. Optimize procurement processes to minimize costs while maximizing quality and sustainability.
and implement efficient culinary operations processes and systems to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve profitability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of culinary and operational initiatives.
and mentor a diverse team of culinary professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to empower team members to excel in their roles and contribute to the organization's overall success.
sustainability initiatives across the culinary and supply chain functions, prioritizing environmentally responsible practices, waste reduction efforts, and ethical sourcing partnerships. Champion Mendocino Farms' commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
and execute long-term strategic plans for culinary operations and supply chain management, aligning with company goals and objectives. Identify growth, expansion, and market differentiation opportunities through culinary innovation and operational excellence.
Requirements:
degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
years of progressive leadership experience in culinary operations, supply chain management, and/or food service management, preferably within the fast-casual or restaurant industry.
track record of success in culinary innovation, menu development, and quality assurance.
understanding of supply chain dynamics, vendor management, and procurement best practices.
leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams at all levels of the organization.
thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive change and innovation.
for food, sustainability, and creating memorable dining experiences.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
understanding of culinary operations and supply chain management •
analytical and problem-solving capabilities tailored to culinary industry challenges.

in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software applications.
