As the Vice President of Environmental Trenching, you will be a pivotal figure in steering the company towards profitable revenue growth within this sector. Key Responsibilities:
Craft and execute a robust business development plan in close collaboration with our Sales Teams, targeting strategic growth in dewatering services.
Forge and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, steering the closure of strategic opportunities.
Spearhead recruitment, professional development, and retention strategies for our team, fostering an environment of excellence and growth.
Direct operational activities to ensure profitable project execution and supreme customer satisfaction.
Engage in product development efforts, contributing to the innovation and evolution of our offerings.
Implement policies and practices to boost operational efficiency and profitability.
Operations Focus:
Oversee the seamless execution of projects, ensuring they align with customer expectations and project specifications.
Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols, championing a culture of safety across all operations.
Collaborate with branch management to forecast operational needs effectively, ensuring seamless integration between sales and logistics.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between the Environmental Trenching team and various support departments, ensuring cohesive operations and support.
Champion our commitment to safety, working alongside our Safety team to continuously improve our practices.
Drive the development and implementation of Environmental Trenching plans, budgets, and forecasts, aiming for ambitious growth targets.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in sales/operations management within the construction industry.
Strong technical proficiency, including familiarity with PC software, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, business development, and team management.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel up to 75% as required by the role.
