NSI's HVAC Division is a rising force in the industry. The Vice President of Finance for the HVAC Division based in Huntersville, NC will collaborate with the executive leadership team to manage financial operations, develop strategies, and engage with private equity partners. This role involves leading the creation of financial infrastructure, driving profitability, and ensuring compliance during a transformative period. Responsibilities include formulating and executing a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the division's objectives, overseeing financial planning, analysis, and forecasting for data-driven decisions, and maintaining strong relationships with private equity partners through regular updates and insights.

Operational Excellence:Implement Scalable Finance Systems and ERP Solutions: Facilitate seamless expansion and effective financial management.Optimize Costs: Manage inventory, enhance margins, and improve operational efficiencies to reduce expenses.Manage Cash Flow and Capital Structure Optimization: Ensure liquidity and compliance by optimizing cash flow and capital structure.Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Conduct thorough financial due diligence for acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. Partner with private equity sponsors to establish KPIs, growth targets, and exit strategies. Oversee post-transaction integration to realize synergies.Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards. Oversee auditing, tax compliance, and risk management processes.Leadership:Develop and Mentor a Financial Team: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and professional development to drive future growth.Promote Collaboration Among Departments: Foster open communication and collaboration across all functions, including supply chain, operations, and sales, to enhance organizational efficiency.Partnership with the Division President and Leadership: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with business leadership, including the Division Executive Leadership Team (ELT), to align financial strategies with organizational goals.Experience and Qualifications:Senior Financial Leadership: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience, with a proven track record as a CFO or VP of Finance for a >$500 million manufacturing company.Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; an MBA and CPA or comparable certification are highly desirable.Industry Experience: Background in manufacturing, and distribution.Mergers and Acquisitions Expertise: Experience in managing M&A transactions, including thorough due diligence and integration planning.P&L Management: Proven ability to manage P&L of significant scale and complexity, with a focus on supply chain and commercial growth.Private Equity Experience: Demonstrated success in managing portfolio companies.Successful Skills:Strategic Planning and Operational Management: Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans, ensuring seamless operational execution.ERP Deployment and Finance System Optimization: Expertise in implementing ERP systems and optimizing finance systems for enhanced efficiency.Cost Accounting, Cash Management, and Inventory Control: Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, cash management practices, and inventory control techniques.Leadership: Proven ability to scale organizations during periods of rapid growth.Collaboration: Exceptional collaborative skills with executive presence, effectively influencing cross-functional teams.Entrepreneurial Spirit: An entrepreneurial mindset focused on delivering value to stakeholders.Financial Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong focus on cash flow management and risk assessment. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic financial plans, manage costs effectively, and evaluate investment opportunities. Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance and financial governance best practices. Confidentiality
