The successful candidate will be a seasoned civil/highway executive with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 20 years of experience in delivering major highway projects for key New York agencies, and a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary design teams on high-profile projects.
The role involves interfacing with clients, developing opportunities, strategizing teaming, and managing multiple design projects from planning to completion.
The Vice President will play a pivotal role in growing the business with a focus on civil/highway projects and will be responsible for shaping the strategy in collaboration with the existing relationships within the agencies.
The ideal candidate will be a registered Professional Engineer in NY, have a deep background in managing the environmental, social, and economic impacts of projects, and be a strong leader with the ability to determine winning strategies, teams, budgets, delivery approaches, and staffing requirements.
Desired skills include being recognized as a leader in the New York road and highway community and experience in managing a traffic group.
The role requires a candidate who can effectively interact with both external client project managers and executives and internal project managers and department leads.
The Vice President will be a key part of the critical infrastructure team, contributing to projects that connect and protect communities, promote economic growth, enhance mobility, and increase sustainability and resiliency.
