The Vice President of IT is responsible for leading and managing the company's Technology team to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions to support our brand partners across the US & Canada. This role encompasses oversight of IT product delivery, platform configuration, application development, networking, and security. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, software delivery, and people management, with a proven track record of driving results in a rapidly growing environment.
\n Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the IT team, providing strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.Oversee the delivery of IT products and services, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery within budget parameters.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Lead the successful on-boarding and technical integration of acquired brands in the company portfolio.Proactively collaborate with ELT & Brand Presidents to identify opportunities to streamline processes and scale technology to address the growing complexity of the company technical environment.Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the IT organization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to support IT initiatives and projects.Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and scalability.Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership on IT initiatives, projects, and performance metrics.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the IT team, promoting professional growth and development opportunities for team members.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role within IT, with demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering complex technology solutions.Proven experience in software development, software delivery, and project management methodologies.Substantive understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.Highly proficient at negotiating technology contracts and managing technology budgets.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience working with a decentralized user community.Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365 and related tools.Experience with software development tools such as Jira, C# , .NET., Microsoft SQL Store procedures, .NET web API, Redis, Azure Service Bus, microservices, multitenancy, CQRS, Mediator pattern, WebSockets, SignalR, ODATA, and parallel programming.Previous experience with CRM software such as Zoho, Salesforce, etc.
