Vice President of Network and Security The Vice President of Network and Security will lead the strategic and operational management of the company's network infrastructure and security framework. This executive role is critical in ensuring the integrity, resilience, and efficiency of IT services and systems. The VP will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of network and security solutions that support the organizational goals and protect against existing and emerging security threats.

THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL: Developing and executing a cohesive network and security strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and risk tolerance. Leading the network and security teams, overseeing the deployment of network and security infrastructures, and managing large scale projects. Establishing and maintaining secure network architectures for both cloud based and on-premise environments. Proactively monitoring the company's security and network performance, implementing improvements as necessary. Conducting and overseeing regular systems tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security. Developing and enforcing policies and procedures for network administration, security protocols, and disaster recovery. Managing vendor relationships and negotiating with service providers to ensure service levels meet company needs. Staying current with the latest networking and security technologies and trends, and applying this knowledge to improve the infrastructure. Other duties as assigned. DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS: Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills. Expert knowledge in network architecture and security management. Proficient in risk management and compliance assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize costs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in network management and security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large scale IT projects. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in a related field. Experience in industries with high regulatory compliance requirements. Prior experience in transforming IT infrastructure and security postures to support scaling operations. CERTIFICATIONS: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Other relevant certifications in network or security management.
