Our client, a full-service Charleston-based restaurant group, is seeking a qualified Vice President of Operations. The key employee will plan, direct, coordinate and oversee operations support service activities in the organization ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization such as training, growth project initiatives to coordinate with other staff functions to improve store operations, communication to stores etc.

Essential Functions of the Vice President of Operations
Work directly with restaurants in your territory to stay up to date with company polices and achieve excellent level of operations, training, and food safety.
Ensures focus on increasing sales and profits and building productive management teams.
Directly responsible in the districts day-to-day operations and will carry out company policies and guidelines.
Oversee operational practices, making sure that each restaurant runs smoothly and meets projected sales, food, and labor cost targets.
Coordinate and make recommendations to senior management to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
Cultivate and grow a strong team of leaders committed to the business with high operational standards.
Make regular visits to restaurants and interact in the day-to-day operations.

Qualification Requirements for the Vice President of Operations
Five to seven years of progressive leadership experience in Restaurant Industry Operations. Must have a proven track record of achieving results and building successful teams.
Ability to partner and build relationships while demonstrating leadership and integrity and promoting team success.
Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in all situations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must complete a full background check
Valid Drivers License
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
