About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to consult with executive leadership in the development of strategic plans, policies, and procedures for manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing specific strategic objectives to drive continuous improvement in key performance indicators.
This role involves overseeing budget and expense management, leading the supply chain and manufacturing functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals, and maintaining quality and regulatory standards.
The VP will also be tasked with leadership and people development, including the recruitment and training of the operations management team.
Candidates for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business management and/or a science degree in a related discipline.
A minimum of 15 years' of experience in lean manufacturing and transformation, as well as in leading complex processes within manufacturing, supply chain, or related functions, is required.
The role demands a leader with a proven track record in operational performance and people development, as well as extensive knowledge of continuous improvement practices and lean tools/techniques.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and strategic skills, and be capable of driving process and product improvements while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
