Vice President Of Origination

VP of Origination - IPP Location: Remote We are looking for a VP of Origination to drive power purchase agreements (PPAs) and lead origination efforts for utility-scale renewable energy projects. This role involves managing corporate and utility off-taker relationships and leading contract negotiations across solar, wind, and battery storage projects. Responsibilities: Lead origination and transaction efforts, primarily focused on PPAs with corporate and utility buyers. Build and maintain strategic relationships with off-takers, brokers, and industry partners. Oversee the deal process from initial engagement through contract execution, including pricing analysis and commercial terms. Conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities to support growth targets. Manage and mentor the origination team, ensuring high performance and adherence to company objectives. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in energy origination, ideally with utility-scale renewable projects. Proven track record of closing large PPA transactions. Strong understanding of market trends, contract structures, and project financing. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
