We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Payroll Tax to join our People Team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA – HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Collects, researches, and reconciles statistical and financial data to assist in accounting and financial reporting. Prepares financial and accounting reports and statements. Inputs and verifies accounting entries. Provides financial and statistical data to be used in special projects as required by the unit/section. Ensures that all statutory regulations and payments to third parties including regulatory and taxing bodies are in compliance with country and/or regional law. Receives payroll tax inquiries related to tax form processing sent down by MyHR. Responds to standard payroll tax questions from managers and employees. With guidance, performs regulatory tax research on payroll tax compliance and best practices, and improved, efficient tactics for handling daily transactions. Contributes to the reconciliation of payroll tax reporting after each pay run to ensure country tax filings are correct. Responsible for weekly and quarterly tax filings and for the reconciliation of cash activity to Payroll Administration and the tax service(s) relevant to the assigned country or payroll tax process. Scope is limited to the quality and accurate completion of own work. Contributes to the achievement of country or regional goals. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
