The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of spiritual care policies, quality improvement, and governance across the care continuum.
This role involves leading and integrating spiritual care education, setting standards for the spiritual care workforce, and ensuring the execution of spiritual care standards and policies.
The VP will also collaborate with various mission and spiritual care teams to provide seamless mission integration services and will be a key consultant on the care coordination of spiritual care.
Applicants must be Board Certified Chaplains with an MDiv or equivalent degree, and a doctoral level degree in a related area is preferred.
A strong understanding of the Catholic Church and its traditions is essential, with a preference for candidates with a background in Catholic healthcare.
The role requires a minimum of 7-10 years' of leadership experience in healthcare, including a proven track record in leading the Catholic identity of an organization.
The ideal candidate will have leadership skills in strategic thinking, healthcare operations, and program management, and must be able to operate effectively in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a personal presence that embodies the values of the company are also necessary.
