The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all global construction and contract management activities, including sourcing, competitive strategies, contract development, and supplier management.
This role requires a leader who can drive best-in-class contract negotiation and execution processes, lead pre-construction proposals, and pricing strategies, and effectively use industry benchmarks to build strong negotiation positions.
The VP will also be tasked with building strategic partnerships, strengthening a data and analytics culture, and ensuring the execution of design, pre-construction, and construction processes align with project objectives.
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, an engineering or MBA background strongly desired, and at least 15 years of experience in construction contracts, program management, or related fields.
The role demands a leader with a proven track record in a high-growth, fast-paced organization, and experience in managing and developing large teams.
The ideal candidate will have an executive presence, be adept at engaging with suppliers at the C Suite level, and have the ability to lead in a highly matrixed development environment.
The VP will be expected to protect the company's interests, deliver optimal results, and minimize risk in the supply chain, while also ensuring adherence to contractual commitments and proactively monitoring key performance metrics.
