Job Description:
As the Vice President of IT Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in directing and maintaining a comprehensive network, telephony, server, storage, and infrastructure strategy for our Information Services Division. You'll be responsible for planning and implementing both long-term and short-term IT infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility across all IT functions. Additionally, you'll oversee the management of special projects, maintain a focus on quality customer service, and collaborate closely with IT business and security functions to drive synergy and efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement long and short-range goals for the Information Services Division.
Manage special projects and IT studies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Maintain collaboration and integration across networks, telephony, systems, security, and operational functions.
Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive hardware and network infrastructure strategies.
Ensure a quality customer service focus for employees within the Information Services Division.
Supervise the activities of assigned directors and support staff, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
Direct technical support to a wide variety of users and stakeholders.
Prepare and manage divisional operating, capital, and project budgets.
Collaborate with other business units to implement appropriate technologies and enhance tenant service offerings.
Stay abreast of industry trends and new technologies to continually improve systems and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, public administration, or a related field; Master of Science degree preferred.
8 years of high-level experience in a complex IT environment; supervisory/management experience preferred.
Valid NC Driver's License.
Competencies for Successful Performance:
Strong knowledge of IS applications, airport IT best practices, and project management principles.
Excellent critical thinking, organization, and negotiation skills.
Ability to review contracts, prepare budgets, and coordinate vendor responses.
