Position SummaryThe Vice Provost for Faculty Success is a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, unrepresented position reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs in the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA). OAA is the central academic administrative office, with responsibility for the institutional academic mission, programming and policy implementation, support programs for academic personnel and students, academic fiscal management, and collective bargaining with the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), the Portland State University Faculty Association (PSUFA - AFT), and the Graduate Employees Union (GEU - AFT).
The Vice Provost is a member of the Provost's OAA Executive Committee and the Academic Leadership Team (ALT), and leads the Academic Employee and Labor Relations Team (AELR).
Minimum QualificationsThe successful candidate will:
