We are looking for certified, experienced, and creative educators who will provide virtual tutoring services to a diverse group of elementary, middle, or high school students covering various math and ELA subjects. The tutor will facilitate one-on-one or a small group instruction for up to 8 students per group. The tutoring service is designed to provide academic support via a safe and secure online video conferencing platform for students in different time increments, ranging from 15 minute to 60 minute sessions.
This is a remote, part-time tutoring role.
***Applicants MUST hold a valid MI teaching certificate with an NS Endorsement. The English as a Second Language (NS) endorsement allows elementary (K-8) and secondary-level (6-12) certified teachers to teach English as a Second Language and provide sheltered instruction to English language learners in all subjects in the grade levels on their teaching certificates. Provide high-quality, live tutoring services to students in 1:1 and/or small group settingsConduct tutoring sessions ranging from 15 minutes to 1 hour in lengthCreate a virtual learning environment that is safe, accepting, fun, and interactiveDeliver curriculum in a clear and engaging mannerMonitor and adapt instruction to meet student needsAdminister provided assessments according to a predetermined scheduleMaintain professional and timely communication with the Framework Tutor Ops Team REQUIREMENTS:
Must hold a current and valid Michigan teaching license with an NS Endorsement- expired licenses are not accepted Must reside and work in the U.S.Must have a working computer, mic, and camera, as well as reliable internet and a quiet, distraction-free environmentAbility to pass a federal level background check, which may include fingerprintingProficiency utilizing online platforms and virtual teaching toolsPrior online tutoring experience is a plusBi-lingual abilities are a plus
