The Visitor Relations/Group Coordinator oversees the scheduling and coordination of group visits, assists with social media communication, and is the point of contact for reception of priestly faculties. All is done a manner to advance the goals of the University, and specific mission of the National Shrine Grotto. This position reports to the Philanthropy Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Events / Scheduled Groups: Fulfill visitor requests for pilgrimages, dedications, weddings, Masses, visits, etc. Manage and track group, retreat and wedding invoices and budgets; generate/distribute event updates Implement event set ups and tear downs, audio-visual needs, and speaker logistical planning. Grounds: Assists with closing of the facilities while maintaining peace and serenity. Spiritual Activities: Communicate with archdiocese to confirm priestly faculties for liturgical celebrations. Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills: Exceptional communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through. Ability to manage and organize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team with results oriented approach. Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and Adobe Illustrator. Ability to be persistent in tasks. Ability to give substantial feedback on given responsibilities. Capable of maintaining composure and flexibility in stressful, deadline driven situations. In-depth knowledge of Roman Catholic faith, with its culture, structure, and activities. Minimum Pay Rate: $15.00/hour. Part Time - 20 hours a week.
*Friday-Sunday 1:30 PM-5:30 PM, Wednesday 9:30 AM-5:30 PM.
