So, if you're passionate about educating and empowering every Hokie to take an active and engaging day-to-day approach to their wellness to enjoy a long, healthful, and purpose-filled life, please keep reading.HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE:1) You'll be serving as the visual communications specialist for our well-being teams, which include Cook Counseling Center, Hokie Wellness, Residential Well-being, and Schiffert Health Center.2) You'll be reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing for health & well-being.3) You'll be working collaboratively with a team on all marketing and communications for our health and well-being area.4) You'll be responsible for the development and execution of the visual storytelling aspects of the health and well-being communications strategy.5) You'll guide a team of student interns to uplift messaging around Hokie Wellness, Cook Counseling, Schiffert Health Center, and Residential Well-being, specifically through design, photography, and videography.6) You'll bring innovative and creative ideas to the communications and marketing team and stay current with emerging technologies, platforms, and visual storytelling trends and best practices.7) You'll have the chance to grow and take advantage of a developmental plan with opportunities to advance within the Department and the Division.8) You'll be offered a base compensation package between $41,000-$46,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, paid leave, retirement, tuition assistance, VT discounts, and so much more!HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT WORKING AT VIRGINIA TECH:1) THE UNIVERSITY: Virginia Tech as an employer is committed to developing well-rounded employees who are active members of the university community as well as the community at-large.
