The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the Peter Millar visual strategy, with a key focus on design and production of window displays, trade shows, pop ups and organizations of special tools for key product and store initiatives. This position will work under the direction of the Director of Stores and Retail Experience along with the President of Peter Millar to integrate these projects to meet brand strategies and business needs. The Visual Merchandiser will coordinate with Central VM on the Visual Merchandising product display guidelines (e.g Best practice documents, corporate business presentations, windows and store merchandising book) for the Retail Stores and Crown Shop networks. The Visual Merchandiser is responsible in ensuring the proper implementation of these guidelines, guaranteeing the respect of the brand identity and the customer experience.
This role is also responsible for supporting Central VM on the organization of new Retail Store development along. These organizational responsibilities will also include seasonal sales meetings and the sourcing and implementation of seasonal wholesale market trade shows.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Supports Central VM on all Visual merchandising projects (Window displays, tools, special projects displays and events), while ensuring the development, responsibility and autonomy of the Design team.
Supports the production process and development of creative visual merchandising projects.
Organize/inventory of all Visual Merchandising display tools, props and fixtures.
Assist in coordinating and conducting VM Retail Store visits.
Merchandise/Maintain corporate showroom.
Assist in coordinating/organizing Seasonal Retail Store VM Guide.
Support Visual Merchandising initiatives while empowering the Visual Merchandising Team to manage projects in full.
Is responsible for collaborating with contractors for the management of the visual in-store installations, new store openings, trade show projects, Crown Shop installations and event installations.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in sales, advertising, visual merchandising or related experience
Luxury retail experience in Design and Visual Merchandising with strong aesthetic in terms of retail design and product display.
