Description About the Practice Lipman Mandell Retina Center was established in 2007 under the vision of Dr. Barry Mandell. A native Virginian, he relocated from Retina Consultants of St. Louis where he was involved with fellow training. He was joined in 2016 by Dr. Adam Lipman who completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Virginia and retina fellowship at Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts. Both serve on faculty at Eastern Virginia Medical School where they are actively involved in resident education. This is a thriving practice with high clinical and surgical volume and room to grow to a 3 physician practice.
About the Position This is a well-respected retina-only practice in Virginia Beach, seeking a vitreoretinal surgeon to take the position of Dr. Mandell who is looking to retire. We are offering a partnership track with the goal of bringing on a long-term colleague and partner who will take over the case load from a retiring surgeon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a non-private equity practice with a robust referral base.
