The Project SEARCH program is a 10-month employment training initiative designed for young students or seniors in their last year of high school to prepare for competitive employment and a successful adult life.
What to expect.
You will provide pre-vocational experiences and coordinate arrangements for vocational work groups for students in the Project SEARCH program.
Specific responsibilities include:
Assisting in developing relationships for new jobs and internship sites on campus and within the community.
Assessing students' vocational strengths and opportunities for growth to identify the appropriate work settings and groups.
Providing students with job training and developing skills for specific job tasks.

What we need from you.
One of the following combinations of education and experience:
Associate degree in a mental health related field and 1 year of related work experience.
High school diploma or GED and 3 years of related work experience.
Must meet Sheppard Pratt's requirements to operate a company vehicle:
Be 18 years old with at least 2 years of driving experience.
Have a valid driver's license.
Driving record with 2 points or less for the 3 most recent years of driving history.
