DescriptionWe are looking for an inventive and enthusiastic audio and voice interaction designer who is ready to apply their expertise to the exciting challenge of designing how Apple's software platforms sound when they speak. Your time in the studio will be a mixture of voice and audio conceptualizing, prototyping, presenting, and debating ideas and solutions across a group of designers, engineers, and executives.
Minimum QualificationsTrack record of project ownership, creative thinking, and cross-functional collaboration in support of voice-led and audio-first product features.Portfolio demonstrating your voice and sound design thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem-solving skills.Open and collaborative communication skills; capable of working in a multi-disciplinary design studio.Degree in Sound Design, HCI, Audio Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, Linguistics, or a related discipline—and/or comparable professional experience.Preferred QualificationsInnovative vision for intelligent voice experiences, demonstrating voice design principles and sound design expertise.High level of curiosity for technology amplified by your design craft.Understanding of Text-to-Speech voice creation and modeling.Experience with Accessible Voice Interfaces.Experience collaborating with voice talent in a recording studio environment.Voice production or sound design for interactive experiences.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
