The Vice President of Communications will lead Blackpoint Cyber's communication strategy and oversee all related activities, playing a key role in shaping and amplifying the company's brand presence. This position is responsible for public and analyst relations and ensuring effective internal and external communications. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and strategic thinker with a strong background in communications, media relations, and crisis management.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with Blackpoint Cyber's goals and vision.
Oversee all public relations and communications activities, including media and analyst relations, press releases, and crisis communications.
Manage and enhance the company's brand image across various communication channels.
Lead Blackpoint's content strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand messaging.
Partner with People Operations to support internal communications, maintaining consistent and effective messaging across the organization.
Own Blackpoint's corporate and product messaging strategy and framework.
Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to support integrated communication efforts.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine communication strategies proactively.
Manage a team of communications and creative professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven expertise in media relations, crisis management, and brand management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
