Role / Responsibilities This role is responsible for managing the development and administration of the company's total compensation programs, including base salary, short and long-term incentive compensation, job evaluations, and data analysis. The incumbent will be the lead compensation consultant supporting the Moody's Analytics business unit globally. Consults and advises senior management and People Team regarding compensation policy, compensation recommendations for senior hires and senior promotions, market analysis, and other compensation projects and initiatives Conducts global compensation benchmarking analysis and provides compensation recommendations to senior management Recommends and implements changes to current practice based on latest market trends and best practices to ensure the organization stays competitive in the market and industry Leads the business unit support for the global annual compensation planning process including annual salary increase, bonus payouts and equity plans Educate People Team & Managers on compensation programs and processes Partners with the People Service Delivery team to ensure that all systems meet compensation needs Conducts global compensation benchmarking analysis and provides compensation recommendations to senior management Reconciles compensation program expenses with Corporate Planning Conduct complex analyses for a broad range of ad hoc compensation projects Qualifications Degree or tertiary qualifications in a related discipline 10 years' work experience in compensation Experience in design and implementation of compensation structures across multiple geographies Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders Ability to operate in a face-paced environment with competing priorities Extraordinary communication skills - both oral and written required for this role Previous experience leading and implementing projects globally Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to comfortably interact with people at all levels of the organization Strong written and verbal communication skills, together with strong presentation skills High degree of integrity and confidentiality Good organization skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong critical thinking, communication and analytical skills Expert with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience within the global financial services and/or technology sectors Familiarity with the SuccessFactors platform preferred For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$160,100 - [[$232,100, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
