Job Summary Own day to day field operations for all data centers in the region. Responsible for execution, capacity management, consistent response/ structures, and streamlined support.
Responsibilities Drive strategic planning and priorities for data center operations, in alignment withEstablish and track against KPIs, SLAs, and metrics (incl. regional performance, capacity, availability, budget)Oversee incident response, problem resolution, and change management to support Equinix customer experienceManage critical business continuity plans, including testing and implementation of disaster preparedness, detailed project management, and logistics coordination.Foster a safety-first cultureCoordinate with global design and construction team to ensure delivery of a consistent productExecute capacity management plan across data centers in a regionShape a collaborative, transparent, and entrepreneurial culture, in tandem with the corporate leadership teamMotivate employees around shared vision and align business through transformative leadershipEmpower frontline resources to meet customer needsQualifications 15+ years demonstrated track record of data center operations management and maintenance or equivalent. Leadership and cross functional management experienceExperience optimizing a growing and evolving business – leading a large organization through a period of rapid growth, merger integration, or business transitionSkills and Attributes Focus on execution and results – establishing high standards for performance, setting goals and developing plans, following through and holding people accountable for resultsProvide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision and influenceSupport and lead culture as an ambassador of the business, support and lead the businessEmbody the culture of the business and serve as an ambassador to lead and inspireAdaptable to shifting priorities while maintaining a focus on long-term goals and strategies is key to achieving success in a dynamic business environmentFinancial acumen and ability to connect operational objectives to financial resultsInteract with sales team and customers to provide an exceptional customer experience.
