The Analytics team works closely with the firm's trading desk and is responsible for building and maintaining the firm's core financial and optimization models and providing analytical support for trading and hedging. As part of AmeriHome's Analytics team, the ideal candidate will have previously demonstrated the ability to succeed in a fast-paced trading environment, possess 3+ years of relevant work experience, a strong educational track record, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will also need to be very comfortable working with large amounts of data, be able to think critically, be detail-oriented, and exhibit a terrific work ethic.

Minimum Requirements: A degree in Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or some other technically rigorous curriculum.3+ years of work experience in quantitative finance.Previous support of trading desks or knowledge of fixed income trading, mortgage banking or correspondent lending is a plus.Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner (both verbally and in writing).Strong background in C#, SQL Server, Excel, and Excel VBA.Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceExperience with statistical analysis, including the use of tools like R or Python, is a plus.
